The Mikva Eliahu Fadlun of Piazza Bologna in Via Famiano Nardini 15, was built in the year 2018 under the directives of Rabbi Meir Posen and is supervised by Rabbi Menachem Lazar.
The water in the Mikva is exclusively rainwater collected on the large roof directly above the Mikva.
The women’s Mikva has four preparation rooms, the Mikva itself has a reservoir on the side and one under (Bor al gabei Bor), both have continued hashoka. When the water level in the Mikva decreases, rainwater is added. The water is cleaned thanks to the latest filter technology approved by Rabbi Posen.
The women’s Mikva is open every night at sunset, appointments are required.
The Mikva for men is also comprised of rainwater and has a lower reservoir (Bor al gabei Bor).
The men’s Mikva is open every morning, weekdays 7 am – 8 am, Sundays 7:30 am – 8:30 am, Shabbat and Holiday 8:30 am – 9:30 am, eve of Shabbat and Holiday 1 pm – 2:30 pm.
The Mikva for utensils (kelim) has a reservoir under, it was initially filled up with rainwater and tap water is added.
The Mikva was built keeping in mind all different opinions and customs.
